الجامعة العربية الأمريكية تبحث سبل تعاون مع وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية
أكد وزير الصحة الفلسطينية الدكتور ماجد أبو رمضان، على أهمية تعزيز التعاون بين الوزارة والمؤسسات الأكاديمية بهدف تحسين قدرات الكوادر وتبادل الخبرات لرفع جودة الخدمات الصحية المقدمة للمواطنين.
جاء ذلك خلال زيارة وفد من الجامعة العربية الأمريكية إلى مقر وزارة الصحة، ترأسه الدكتور براء عصفور القائم بأعمال رئيس الجامعة العربية الأمريكية، ورافقه كلا من الأستاذ الدكتور محمد آسيا نائب الرئيس لحرم رام الله، والأستاذ الدكتور مالك زبن عميد كلية الطب، وكان في استقبالهم إلى جانب الوزير، الأستاذ أسامة النجار الوكيل المساعد لشؤون الخدمات الطبية المساندة، والاستاذة ماريا الأقرع رئيس وحدة التعاون الدولي.
وأشاد وزير الصحة بمشروع مصنع الأطراف الصناعية في حرم الجامعة العربية الأمريكية في جنين، مشددا على أهمية الاستفادة القصوى منه كونه يلبي احتياجا متزايدا في المجتمع الفلسطيني خاصة في قطاع غزة الذي يشهد تزايدا في حالات البتر.
من جانبه، أكد الدكتور براء عصفور على الدور التكاملي بين الجامعة ووزارة الصحة الفلسطينية في تطوير القطاع الصحي في فلسطين، مشيرا إلى أن الجامعة تولي اهتماما خاصا بتقديم تعليم أكاديمي متميز لطلبتها في مختلف التخصصات، بما في ذلك التخصصات الطبية والصحية، لضمان تزويدهم بالمعرفة والمهارات التي تساهم في الارتقاء بالمجتمع الفلسطيني.
وقال عصفور: “الجامعة تحرص الجامعة على تلقي طلبة الطب البشري الخبرات العملية اللازمة من خلال التدريب في المستشفيات الفلسطينية، ونثمّن دعم وزارة الصحة للجهود التعليمية للجامعة، بما يعزز من جودة التعليم الطبي ويضمن تأهيل خريجين مؤهلين”.
وناقش الطرفان التحديات التي يواجهها الطلبة المتدربون بسبب صعوبة التنقل، كما اتفق الجانبان على ضرورة تعزيز التعاون في تدريب الطلبة وتوفير بيئة تعليمية عملية آمنة ورفع جودة خدمات الفحص والعلاج المقدمة للمواطنين.
